Lydia and Ted Get Engaged

Ok, so I’m a LITTLE behind with my blogging. Super sorry about that. It’s been a very busy summer and fall, chock-full of awesome shoots of all varieties. What’s a chock, by the way, and why would I want something to be full of them? Aren’t chocks those things you put behind tires? Is there something I’m missing here? ANYWAY.

Lydia and Ted got engaged, and then they got married, and I was lucky enough to photograph both of those things. But first, the engagement shoot. This was shot at Davenport, and a great time was had by all, as you can see from the photos:

We start out innocently enough, with a touching moment at the beach….and then:

I believe this is the FIRST EVER PTERODACTYL PHOTOBOMB.

A beautiful glass heart.

Smooching at the beach. FYI: there are mucho smooches in engagement shoots.

The Chariots of Fire soundtrack pops into my head when I look at this one - not sure why...

lte-106
Quite dashing! I almost expect James Bond bad guys to jump out from behind a rock.

lte-107
This was a super sweet moment.

Sometimes I give directions. In this case, I asked Ted to “be Fabio”…

…and BOY did he deliver. Hilarity: It ensued.

Beautiful ring!

Railroad tracks are quite photogenic.

And to close, the obligatory “We are surfing on the railroad” shot.

That’s it for this installment, but stay tuned - I’ve got a lot of great shoots to share with you, and a big Personal Reveal coming soon!
